1939 Hamilton Ross

Serviced December 2023, excellent gilt and coral dial with Roman numeral markers, hand polished 14k yellow gold filled case, unworn genuine leather strap, NOS mineral glass crystal, monogrammed caseback, alloy mainspring.

Hamilton produced the Ross from 1939 through 1946. The gilt and coral dial on this example is in near mint condition with no patina evident. The Hamilton logo and sub seconds paint is mint. The hands appear to be original and are blued. There is no plate wear on the corners of the monogrammed case back or on the drilled lugs. This Hamilton Ross comes ready to wear on an unworn brown genuine leather two piece strap with gold tone buckle and contrasting stitching. The American made 980 small seconds movement was serviced December 2023 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 35 seconds per day.

Lugs - No plate wear.

Crystal - NOS mineral glass crystal installed as part of the full servicing December 2023.

Hands - Original blued hour, minute, and seconds hands with little to no patina.

Dial - Gilt and coral dial with Roman numeral markers. Small seconds dial at the 6 o'clock. All the original paint in excellent condition.

Band - Unworn, brown genuine leather strap with gold toned clasp.

Movement - Hamilton American made 980 caliber, 14/0 size, manual wind, 17 jewels. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
