1962 Hamilton Thinline 4003
Serviced March 2024, silver dial with radially brushed finish, hand polished 10k gold filled one piece case, unworn leather strap, domed acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.
Hamilton's Thinline series of watches was first introduced in 1958 and was produced all the way through 1974. Made for just two years in 1962 and 1963, this Thinline 4003 comes with a manual wind Swiss made Hamilton caliber 687 movement with 17 jewels and a sub seconds hand. The silver dial is in good condition with some patina evident, notably on the chapter ring. The dial is radially brushed. The painted cross hairs at the sub seconds, the Hamilton logo, and the Thinline brand script are painted and are in mint condition. The Arabic numerals are also painted and are in mint condition. The distinctive hands are original with light patina. The 10k gold filled case has been hand polished with some fine scratching. A low domed acrylic crystal was polished clean and clear of any major defects during service. The watch comes ready to wear on a brand new unworn croc print genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle. The 687 manual wind movement was serviced March 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 5 seconds per day.

Band - Brand new unworn croc print genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle.
