1941 Hamilton Myron
1941 Hamilton Myron
Serviced December 2018, vintage refinished dial with gold applied markers, honest spidered patina, polished 10k gold filled case, unworn leather strap, acrylic crystal, NOS alloy mainspring.
Introduced in 1941 and made through 1951, the Myron was one of the Hamilton models where production was only interrupted during WWII as manufacturing shifted to wartime production. This Hamilton Myron comes with an American made, manual wind caliber 980 movement. The watch has art deco style lugs with wear through on the reverse of the tips. The watch features a white dial with 18k gold applied numerals. The dial appears to have been refinished, likely sometime in the 1950's based on the even patina that has developed. The paint on the dial is in good condition. The case back has wear through along the edges and under the crown. The 980 manual movement was serviced December 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 55 seconds per day.
