1948 Hamilton Dyson

Serviced July 2024, hand polished 14k gold filled case, white dial, unworn genuine leather strap, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Hamilton produced the Dyson from 1948 through 1951. The Dyson was offered the 17 jewel caliber 747 movement. The case and bezel is 14k yellow gold filled and have been hand polished. There is little to no visible patina on the dial. The Hamilton logo, sub seconds, and minute track paint is excellent. The applied numerals and dots are solid 18k gold. The hands appear to be original. This Hamilton Dyson comes ready to wear on a brand new brown leather two piece strap with gold tone buckle. The 747 small seconds movement was serviced July 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 23 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k yellow gold filled bezel and case back. Some fine scratching on the front of the bezel. Minor plate wear on the corners.

Lugs - Minor plate wear. Drilled lugs.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear as part of the full servicing July 2024.

Hands - Original hands with little to no patina.

Dial - White dial, Arabic numeral hour markers and dots. Little to no patina visible across the dial. Small seconds dial at the 6 o'clock. All the original paint in excellent condition.

Band - Unworn, brown leather strap with gold toned clasp.

Movement - Hamilton American made 747 caliber, 14/0 size, manual wind, 17 jewels. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
