1948 Hamilton Eric

Serviced May 2020, very good two tone silver dial with 18k gold applied numbers and dots. Hand polished 14k gold filled case, lizard print leather Hamilton two piece strap, signed crown, mineral glass crystal, alloy mainspring.

Produced from 1948 through 1951, the Eric features the 17 jewel, manual wind 747 movement. The original two tone silver dial is in very good condition with light, honest patina across the dial. The paint on the dial is in excellent condition. The hands appear to be original and have light patina developing. The 14k gold filled case has been hand polished. There is little to no plate wear. The mineral glass crystal has small chips on the edge near 1 o'clock and 10:30. The watch comes ready to wear on a used, vintage leather two piece strap with gold tone buckle. The 747 manual wind movement was serviced May 2020 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 17 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold filled bezel and case back. Some fine scratching.

Lugs - Little to no plate wear visible.

Crystal - Mineral glass crystal. Small chips on the edge near 1 o'clock and 10:30.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina.

Dial - Original two tone silver dial with 18k gold applied Arabic numerals and dots. Hamilton logo, sub seconds track, and minute track paint in excellent condition.

Band - Gently used, Hamilton branded, brown genuine lizard leather strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 747, manual wind, 17 jewels. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
