1953 Hamilton Ryan

Serviced September 2024, American made manual wind movement, excellent sterling silver dial with 18k gold applied hour markers and Roman numerals. Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel and case back, original expansion bracelet, NOS mineral glass crystal, alloy mainspring, original inner and outer boxes.

Made for just two years in 1953 and 1954, the Hamilton Ryan was only offered with the caliber 752 movement in 1953 (the latter 1954 models came with the caliber 747). This watch comes with an American made Hamilton caliber 752 manual wind movement, indicating it was manufactured in 1953. The watch features an excellent sterling silver dial with applied 18k gold Roman numerals and hour markers. There little to no patina visible across the dial. The paint for the Hamilton branding and sub seconds crosshairs is excellent. A NOS mineral glass crystal was installed during the September 2024 service. The 10k gold filled bezel and case back have been hand polished and shows some fine scratching. The watch is ready to wear on the original gold plated expansion bracelet. The 752 caliber manual wind movement was serviced September 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 14 seconds per day. The watch comes with the both the original inner and outer boxes.

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel and case back. Fine scratching evident. 

Lugs - In very good condition with little or no plate wear.

Crystal - NOS mineral glass crystal installed during September 2024 service. 

Hands - Appear to be original with very light patina. 

Dial - Original, excellent condition dial. Sterling silver dial with applied 18k gold Roman numerals and hour markers. Paint in excellent condition.

Bracelet - Original expansion bracelet. 

Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 752, manual, 17 jewels. Fully serviced September 2024. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
