Serviced December 2022, American made manual wind movement, very good two tone dial with 18k gold applied hour dots and hour markers. Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel and case back, brand new genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle, NOS mineral glass crystal, alloy mainspring.
The Hamilton Blair was introduced in 1954 and produced through 1958. This watch comes with an American made Hamilton caliber 753 manual wind movement with 19 jewels. 1954 was the only year the Blair came with the 753 as it was replaced by the caliber 770 in 1955. The two tone silver dial has applied 18k gold numerals and pyramid shaped hour markers. The painted Hamilton logo and sub seconds register is excellent. There is honest patina across the dial. The hands appear to be original with very light patina. A NOS mineral glass crystal installed during the full service December 2022. The 10k gold filled bezel and case back have been hand polished and show some fine scratching. There is minor plate wear on the corners of the case back. The watch comes ready to wear on an unworn genuine leather tan two piece strap with gold tone buckle. The 753 caliber manual wind movement was serviced December 2022 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 17 seconds per day.
