1958 Hamilton Keane
1958 Hamilton Keane
Serviced March 2019, patina on the grooved dial, 10k rolled gold bezel, stainless steel case back, signed Hamilton crown, unworn leather strap, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.
Hamilton produced the Keane for four years, from 1958 through 1961. The Keane is powered by a Swiss (A.S.) made manual wind movement with sub seconds at the 6 o'clock. The unique embossed (grooved) white dial has patina, most notably around the outer edge of the dial, and has gold applied numerals and markers. The paint for the Hamilton logo in excellent condition. The painted sub seconds bulls eye has faded in some places. The 10k rolled gold bezel has some minor scratches. The stainless steel case back still exhibits the factory brushing. A NOS acrylic crystal was installed during the full service in March 2019. The watch comes ready to wear on a brand new, unworn, black leather two piece strap with gold tone buckle. The watch is currently running well and reading +/- 32 seconds per day.
