1958 Hamilton Sea-Glo (Black Dial)

Serviced August 2024, Swiss made manual wind movement, excellent embossed tropical black dial, hand polished stainless steel case, acrylic crystal, unworn genuine leather strap, alloy mainspring.

The Hamilton Sea-Glo in stainless steel was produced in 1958 through 1961. The watch comes with a Swiss (ETA) made manual wind 671 caliber movement. The original black dial is excellent with a radiating grooved texture. The dial has a golden brown hue from aging, but there is no other patina evident. The embossed silver markers and numerals are excellent. The paint for the Hamilton logo is excellent. The original silver hands are excellent. The dial and the hands were relumed during the August 2024 service. The watch is ready to wear on an unworn brown genuine leather two piece strap with silver buckle. The Swiss made 17 jewel caliber 671 manual movement was fully serviced August 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 11 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished steel case with snap on case back. Some scratching on the bezel and on the case back.

Lugs - Lugs are in excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of major defects during service in August 2024.

Hands - Appear to be original with some patina developing. Relumed during service. 

Dial - Excellent embossed black dial. Tropical golden brown aging. Embossed silver tone markers and numerals. Painted Hamilton logo. Pearlized minute track. Relumed during service.

Band - Brand new, unworn brown genuine leather strap with stainless steel buckle.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton manual wind caliber 671, 17 jewels. Fully serviced August 2024. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
