Serviced August 2024, American made manual wind movement, excellent silver dial with 14k gold applied numerals, hand polished 10k gold filled asymmetric one piece case, unworn genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle, domed acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.
First introduced in 1959, the Hamilton Cascade was renamed the Sea Cliff in the 1960 and 1961 catalogs. The case is one of a few asymmetrical Hamilton models, with the 12 o'clock side of the case extending past the lugs. This watch comes with an American made Hamilton caliber 770 manual wind movement with 22 jewels. The silver dial has applied 14k gold numerals. The painted Hamilton logo and sub seconds register are mint. There are small bits of patina visible on the dial. The hands appear to be original with light patina. The domed acrylic crystal has been polished clean and clear of any major defects. The 10k gold filled case has been hand polished and shows some fine scratching but no plate wear. This is one of Hamilton's asymmetrical models. The watch comes ready to wear on an unworn genuine leather black two piece strap with gold tone buckle. The 770 caliber manual wind movement was serviced August 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 17 seconds per day.
