Serviced February 2020, Swiss made manual wind movement, very good gilt dial with gold applied markers. Hand polished 10k rolled gold plate bezel, stainless steel case back, unworn lizard grain leather strap with gold tone buckle, domed acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.
Made from 1960 through 1967, the Hamilton First Mate comes with a Swiss made Hamilton caliber 673 manual wind movement with 17 jewels. This example features a very good gilt dial with applied gold hour markers and painted sub seconds cross hairs. There is very light honest patina across the dial. The hands appear to be original with light patina. The paint for the Hamilton H and 'Hamilton' is excellent. The domed acrylic crystal was polished clean and clear during the full service February 2020. The 10k RGP bezel has been hand polished and shows some minor scratching. The snap on stainless steel case back has some minor scratching consistent with age. The watch comes ready to wear on an unworn brown lizard grain two piece leather Speidel strap with gold tone buckle. The 673 caliber manual wind movement was serviced February 2020 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 19 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k rolled gold plate bezel, stainless steel snap on case back. Fine scratching evident.
Lugs - Minor plate wear evident on the tips of the reverse side.
Crystal - Domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of major defects during service February 2020.
Hands - Appear to be original with light patina.
Dial - Original, very good condition dial. Gilt dial with applied gold hour markers. Very light patina evident across the dial.
Band - Unworn brown lizard grain leather Speidel strap with gold tone buckle.
Movement - Swiss made Hamilton caliber 673, manual wind, 17 jewels. Fully serviced February 2020. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
