1960's Hamilton Thinline

Serviced December 2021, Swiss made manual wind movement, excellent silver dial, silver applied hour markers, hand polished stainless steel case, acrylic crystal, stainless steel expansion bracelet, alloy mainspring.

This model does not appear in Hamilton's vintage catalogs, but the movement and design closely match the Thinline product line. This watch comes with a Swiss (ETA) made manual wind 688 caliber movement. The dial is in excellent condition. The applied silver markers with painted 12 and 6 are in good condition and the painted minute track is excellent. The paint for the dial cross hairs, the Hamilton logo, and the 'H' is excellent. The hands appear to be original and have some patina. They have been relumed. The watch is ready to wear on a stainless steel expansion bracelet that may be original. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 688 manual wind movement was fully serviced December 2021 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 14 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished one piece stainless steel case.

Lugs - In excellent condition with no major defects.

Crystal - Domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of major defects.

Hands - Appear to be original. New lume applied during December 2021 service.

Dial - Radially brushed silver dial. Applied silver tone hour markers, black painted minute track. Painted Hamilton logo and cross hairs in excellent condition.

Bracelet - Stainless steel expansion bracelet.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton manual wind caliber 688, 17 jewels. Fully serviced December 2021. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
