1962 Hamilton Sea Rover II
Serviced February 2020, Swiss made manual wind movement, good silver dial with silvered applied markers and painted numerals, polished stainless steel one piece case, signed crown, unworn black leather strap, NOS acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.
Made for just a single year in 1962, the Hamilton Sea Rover II comes with a Swiss made Hamilton caliber 688 manual wind movement. The radially finished silver dial on this example is in good condition with very light visible patina. There are applied silver baton markers on the odd hours, painted numerals on the evens. The hands appear to be original with light patina. The painted Hamilton logo, numerals, and minute track are excellent. A NOS low domed acrylic crystal was installed during service. The one piece stainless steel case has been hand polished with fine scratching evident. The watch is ready to wear on a brand new black genuine leather strap with silver toned buckle. The Swiss made 688 manual wind movement was serviced February 2020 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 13 seconds per day.
