1962 Hamilton Sea Rover II

Serviced September 2020, Swiss made manual wind movement, good silver dial with silvered applied markers and painted numerals, polished stainless steel one piece case, unworn black leather strap, signed crown, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made for just a single year in 1962, the Hamilton Sea Rover II comes with a Swiss made Hamilton caliber 688 manual wind movement. The radially finished silver dial on this example is in good condition with light visible patina, notably between 1 and 5 o'clock. The hands appear to be original with light patina developing. The painted Hamilton logo, numerals, and minute track are excellent. The domed acrylic crystal has been polished clean and clear of any major defects. The crown is signed. The watch is ready to wear on a brand new black genuine leather strap with silver toned buckle. The Swiss made 688 manual wind movement was serviced September 2020 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 16 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel one-piece case. Some minor scratching. Signed crown.

Lugs - In great condition.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of major defects during service.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina.

Dial - Original radially finished (sunburst) silver dial with silvered applied odd hour markers and painted even hour numerals. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition. Honest patina across the dial, notably between the 1 and 5 o'clock positions.

Band - Unworn, black leather strap with silver toned clasp.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton manual caliber 688, 17 jewels. Fully serviced September 2020. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
