1962 Hamilton Sea Rover II

Serviced August 2024, Swiss made manual wind movement, excellent silver dial with silvered applied markers and painted numerals, polished stainless steel one piece case, unworn genuine leather strap, signed crown, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1962 through 1967, the Hamilton Sea Rover II comes with a Swiss made Hamilton caliber 688 manual wind movement. The radially finished silver dial on this example is in excellent condition. The original hands are also excellent with little to no patina. The dial and hands were relumed during the August 2024 service. The painted Hamilton logo, numerals, and minute track are excellent. A NOS domed acrylic crystal was installed during service. The crown is signed. The watch is ready to wear on an unworn black two piece genuine leather strap with stainless steel hardware. The Swiss made 688 manual wind movement was serviced August 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 10 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel one-piece case. Some minor scratching. Signed crown.

Lugs - In great condition.

Crystal - NOS domed acrylic crystal installed during service. 

Hands - Appear to be original with little to no patina. Relumed August 2024.

Dial - Original radially finished (sunburst) silver dial with silvered applied odd hour markers and painted even hour numerals. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition. Relumed August 2024.

Strap - Unworn black genuine leather two piece strap with stainless steel clasp.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton manual caliber 688, 17 jewels. Fully serviced August 2024. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
