Serviced March 2019, Swiss made manual wind movement, excellent refinished silver dial with gold applied markers and gold numerals. Painted minute track and sub second cross hairs. Acrylic crystal, signed Hamilton crown, alloy mainspring.

Hamilton M-series watches were a sperate line from the regular models and were primarily marketed in the 1960's through catalogs. This particular watch retailed for $59 in 1963, and was the fourth watch at that price, therefor was called the M59-4. The watch comes with a 10k rolled gold bezel with a snap on stainless steel case back. There is some scratching on the case. The silver dial on this example appears to have been refinished at some point in the past and is in excellent condition. It has gold applied markers and Arabic numerals. The painted Hamilton logo, minute track, and cross hairs for the sub seconds is in excellent condition. The watch is ready to wear on a vintage leather dark brown two piece strap with gold tone buckle. The Swiss made 688 manual wind movement was serviced March 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 19 seconds per day.
