1970's Hamilton 820007-3

Serviced September 2024, Swiss made automatic movement, quick change date, excellent blue/purple dial with applied markers, hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back, original stainless steel Hamilton bracelet, NOS acrylic crystal, signed crown.

This model does not appear in any of the vintage Hamilton watch catalogs. The case and movement are the same as a few of the models from the early to mid-1970's and would have likely been sold under the Dateline model lineup. It comes with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic 822 caliber movement, with the date at the 3 o'clock. The blue/purple dial changes character depending on the light and is in excellent condition. The applied silver markers are also excellent. The paint across the entire dial and the applied Hamilton logo are excellent. Hour markers were relumed during September 2024 service. The original silver hands are good with slight patina. They have been relumed. The watch is ready to wear on an original stainless steel Hamilton bracelet with signed clasp. The Swiss (ETA) made 822 automatic movement was fully serviced September 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 9 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back. Some minor scratching on case and case back. Factory brushing on front of bezel.

Lugs - Integrated into the cushion case and in excellent condition with very minor scratching.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear during full servicing in February 2022. 

Hands - Appear to be original with very light patina developing. Relumed during service.  

Dial - Blue/purple dial. Applied silver hour markers and Hamilton logo. Painted minute track. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition. Relumed during service.

Bracelet - Stainless steel original Hamilton bracelet.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton automatic caliber 822, 17 jewels. Fully serviced September 2024. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
