1972 Hamilton Day 'N Date 6006

Serviced September 2024, day and date complication with quick set, Swiss made automatic movement, mint silver and gilt dial with applied hour markers and painted minute track. Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case, stainless steel screw down case back, unworn leather strap, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1972 through 1974, the Hamilton Day 'N Date 6006 comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 825 automatic movement. The watch features a mint condition silver dial with a gilt horizontal accent, applied hour markers, and a white painted minute track. The day and date window is at 3 o'clock, adding to incredible 70's styling. The hour makers were relumed during service September 2024. NOS domed acrylic crystal was installed during service. The 14k gold electroplated case has been hand polished and shows some scratching as well as factory brushing. The stainless steel case back has some minor scratching consistent with age. The two piece leather strap is brand new and unworn with quick release spring bars. The 825 caliber automatic day/date movement was serviced September 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 6 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case with factory brushing on the front of the bezel. Stainless steel screw down case back has some scratching. There are some dings and minor plate wear along some of the edges of the case.

Lugs - No visible wear on the reverse side of the lugs.

Crystal - NOS Domed acrylic crystal installed during service. 

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina. Relumed during service.  

Dial - Original, mint condition dial. Silver field with gilt horizontal accent, applied hour markers and Hamilton "H" logo, painted minute track. Paint on the dial is in mint condition. Relumed during service.

Band - Unworn tan genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton caliber 825, quick set day/date, automatic, 17 jewels. Fully serviced September 2024. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
