1972 Hamilton Sea Crest IV

Serviced April 2024, Swiss made manual wind movement, near mint smoke dial with applied markers, polished and brushed stainless steel case with screw down case back, original stainless steel bracelet with signed clasp, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1972 through 1974, the Hamilton Sea Crest IV comes with a Swiss made Hamilton caliber 688 manual wind movement. The smoke dial on this example is in excellent condition. The hands appear to be original with little to no patina evident. The painted Hamilton logo and minute and second track are excellent. The flat topped acrylic crystal has been polished clean and clear of any major defects. The stainless steel case has been hand polished with factory brushing still evident. The watch is ready to wear on the original Hamilton stainless steel bracelet. The clasp is signed. The Swiss made 688 manual wind movement was serviced April 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 8 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel case. Some minor scratching with factory brushing visible. 

Lugs - In great condition.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of major defects during service. 

Hands - Appear to be original with little to no patina.

Dial - Original smoke dial with orange accented applied hour markers. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition. 

Bracelet - Original Hamilton stainless steel bracelet.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton manual caliber 688, 17 jewels. Fully serviced April 2024. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
