The Hamilton Auto Date Buccaneer was produced in 1973 and 1974. The watch comes with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic wind 826 caliber movement with a quick set day and date complication at the 6 o'clock position. The silver dial is in excellent condition. It features the logo of Ringle Express Inc., a trucking company out of Indiana that went out of business in the late 1980's. The excellent applied silver markers are accented with white enamel. The paint for the Hamilton branding, the 'H' logo, the selfwinding branding, and for the REI logo are in mint condition as well. The blue minute track with white painted markers is in mint condition. The original silver hands with white paint accents are excellent, as is the red sweep seconds hand. The hour and minute hands and the hour markers on the dial were relumed during service. The stainless steel case back is monogrammed. The watch is ready to wear on a brand new genuine leather strap with stainless steel hardware. A high dome NOS acrylic crystal has been installed. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 826 manual wind movement was fully serviced January 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 10 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished steel case with screw down case back. Some scratching on the bezel and on the case back. Caseback is monogrammed:

Lugs - Lugs are in excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.

Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed during service January 2024.

Hands - Appear to be original with little to no patina. Red painted center seconds in very good condition. Hour and minute hands have been relumed.

Dial - Excellent silver, custom award dial. Applied silver tone markers with white accents. Painted Hamilton , H logo, and selfwinding branding. Blue minute track with mint white painted markers. Hour markers have been relumed.

Strap - Unworn brown genuine leather two piece strap with stainless steel buckle.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton automatic wind caliber 826, 17 jewels, quick change day and date. Fully serviced January 2024. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
