1973 Hamilton Auto Date Courier

Serviced March 2020, Swiss made automatic movement, good silver dial with applied hour markers and painted minute track. Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case, stainless steel screw down case back, quick set day and date, leather strap, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1973 through 1976, the Auto Date Courier comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 826 automatic movement with a quick set day and date complication at the 6 o'clock. The watch features a good condition vertically brushed silver dial with applied hour markers, and a black painted minute track. The applied markers feature enamel accents and orange painted accents on the dial. The dial is slightly dented at the 2 o'clock and is visible with a raking light. The domed acrylic crystal was polished clean and clear of any major defects. The 14k gold electroplated case has been hand polished and shows some fine scratching. Some factory brushing is still visible on the bezel. There are a few significant dings on the reverse edge of the case, notably near the 4-5 o'clock positions. The stainless steel case back has fine scratching consistent with age. The watch is ready to wear on a black two piece genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle and contrasting stitching. The 826 caliber automatic also hand winds and was serviced March 2020 and is running strong and currently performing at +/- 17 seconds per day.
