1975 Hamilton Duncan

Serviced November 2024, Swiss made automatic movement, quick change day and date, excellent gilt sunburst dial, signed crown, hand polished micron gold plated case and stainless steel snap on case back, original bracelet, signed clasp, acrylic crystal.

The Duncan was produced for just one year in the fall of 1975. It came with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic 837 caliber movement, with a day and date complication at the 3 o'clock. The sunburst finished gilt dial is in excellent condition with little to no patina visible. The stick hour markers are attached to the chapter ring and sit proud of the dial. The paint across the entire dial is mint. The gilt hands are excellent and have been relumed. The black sweep second hand is excellent. The hour pips were also relumed during service. The TV shaped acrylic crystal has been polished clean and clear of any major defects. The watch is ready to wear on the original bracelet. There is plate wear on the bracelet. The Swiss (ETA) made 837 automatic movement was fully serviced November 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 8 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished micron gold plated case and snap on stainless steel case back. Some minor scratching on case and case back. Signed crown.

Lugs - Excellent condition with very minor scratching.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear during full servicing in November 2024. 

Hands - In excellent condition. Appear to be original with extremely light patina evident. Relumed hour and minute hands.

Dial - Sunburst gilt dial. Chapter ring with painted minute markers and applied hour stick markers. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition. Hour marker pips relumed during service.

Bracelet - Original Hamilton gold plated bracelet with signed clasp. Significant plate wear.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton automatic caliber 837, 17 jewels. Fully serviced November 2024. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
