Serviced November 2022, manual wind movement, mint black dial and hands, H3 and radiation symbols on dial, parkerized stainless steel case and screw down case back, unworn Barton green NATO strap with stainless buckle, acrylic crystal.
Hamilton made watches for the US Military under various specifications, one of which was the Mil-W-46374. The 46374B version of the spec was released in 1975 which added the radiation symbols to the dial among other refinements. This example comes with the manual wind, 7 jewel movement with a center sweep seconds hand. The matte finished black dial is in mint condition. The numerals and radiation symbols are painted, as is the minute track. The paint across the entire dial is mint. The hour pips were relumed during service November 2022. The white hands are excellent with little to no patina evident and were also relumed during service. The domed acrylic crystal has been polished clean and clear of any major defects and comes with the original parkerized tension ring. The crown is original. The watch is ready to wear on an olive drab Barton nylon NATO strap with brushed stainless steel buckle. The manual wind movement was fully serviced November 2022 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 18 seconds per day.
