July 1982 Hamilton Mil-W-46374B
Serviced February 2021, manual wind movement, near mint black dial and hands, H3 and radiation symbols on dial, parkerized stainless steel case and screw down case back, one piece nylon Zulu strap with black buckle, acrylic crystal.
Hamilton made watches for the US Military under various specifications, one of which was the Mil-W-46374. The 46374B version of the spec was released in 1975 which added the radiation symbols to the dial among other refinements to the specifications. The watch comes with the manual wind, 7 jewel movement with a center sweep seconds hand. The matte finished black dial is in near mint condition. The numerals and radiation symbols are painted, as is the minute track. The paint across the entire dial is mint. The lumed white hands are excellent with little to no patina evident. The lume appears to be original and does still faintly glow. The domed acrylic crystal has been polished clean and clear of any major defects and comes with the original parkerized tension ring. Minor brassing on the crown. The watch is ready to wear on an olive drab nylon strap with black buckle. The manual wind movement was fully serviced February 2021 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 22 seconds per day.
